Gio’s Italian Bar and Kitchen puts the passion into Italian food and innovation on drinks and Wine.
George, the owner, has experience of working in Italian Restaurants for over 20 years. His love for Italian food and wine started in Angelo’s Restaurant and continued in Mamma Mia, both well established and very successful family run businesses in Bradford.
This is where George picked up and learned most of his knowledge and understanding of the restaurant business. George’s love for wine started early in his life, before he joined the Restaurant industry. It started back in his native Georgia, which is believed to be one of the oldest wine making regions in the world – over 8000 years ago!!!
As a child, George helped his grandfather and family with their own vineyard,
Developing a love and understanding of the winemaking process, and the value a good quality wine can bring to the whole dining experience.
Now George is channelling all this experience, knowledge and enthusiasm into Gio’s Italian Bar and Kitchen, where you will experience the great quality food and service that you expect and deserve, but with a little extra.
